Had to use bus on Sunday 12th October to Magdalen Estate. Got a little bit confused as to what bus to get to where. Got there in the end, but I wish First had put timetables on the buses. NOT EVERYONE HAS THE INTERNET!!!
Reply: These road works were organised very quickly and though no physical timetables were available details were put in the Great Yarmouth Mercury. Just to let you know that the job did not go ahead so it is happening this weekend 18th/19th October

I am the community transport manager at Centre 81 and would like to attend your AGM on Wednesday. Could you please advise if this would be possible.
I have written to you recently to become a member.

Regards

Re your piece on buses to Gapton Hall. Yes something should be diverted to go that way it is stupid that all buses operate via Southtown Road, with that area getting nothing. I am writing to First to suggest such a service.
Reply: Hi Tom. We have made a suggestion to First re a b us to an from Gapton, but it would require some work by the County Council to install lay bys on the road to enable buses to stop. We have the support of Brandon Lewis and await further developments. Steve

Many thanks for working so hard to get a bus service calling at the Rail Station. However, I was horrified to hear that Marks and Spencer now plan to shut their store in the Market Place. This is not what the Yarmouth economy needs.Living in Acle and I make use of the excellent bus and rail service

Seen your press recently re the bus to the rail station. I am also aware that they are to make to |Excel all stops! Is that correct? If so it will be a detrimental to the service as this is not this kind of route. Are you going to be contacting First on this matter?
Reply: Hi Alec. We have written to First to express strong reservations about the idea of the X1 becoming an all stop service while at the same time praising the rise to a 20 min frequency between GY and Lowestoft. Whether it has any effect.....

Took the bus to station this week. Saves that long boring and unpleasant walk for the centre of town. Great work helping to get it up and running.

Well done on getting buses to Yarmouth station. Any plans for buses from the other side of the river to do the same?
Reply: Hi Steve Hewitt from |ENTUA. At the moment this looks un likely. What would help wpould be if the middle span of the Vauxhall Bridge was restored to take traffic then buses from Gorleston could operate via North Quay, over the old bridge and then run to Mkt Gates. it is of course all down to money, but we will press for this as there are a lot of place to chase this finance from, Heritage Lottery,County Counil and Eurpoe etc. so we will persevere>
